I have graduated from stony brook university (one of the famous state universities across the US) and would like to apply master program in civil engineering at NYU, Columbia, UPenn and USC. I know it is hard to judge one’s chance to be accepted by those universities. But I really want to know my chance roughly.
GPA: 3.64 (cum laude) , Dean’s list for three semesters, member of tau beta pi (honor society of Engineering)
GRE score: Q 163/ v 150, awa: 3 ,
I worked as summer trainee (intern) in a small civil engineering company and had two researches in college.
I worry so much about my low verbal score, I wonder if Columbia and upenn will accept me. I also heard that nyu and USC are less difficult to get into compared with Columbia and Upenn, is it true?
