have a small offer from North Dakota State, but the POI is not the the guy I want to work with. I tend to reject this offer. But till now no more news from other programs I applied for(three deadline already :Cornell, Uc Davis, U of Minnesota). Has any guy apply for plant biology/breeding from those three schools received interview yet? Most faculty I contacted do not have funding for a Ph. D. student this year. Is really a tough year for all of us, I think.
