PhD or MA?

I think that ours just haven't been evaluated yet. I believe for counselling the professional/intership applicants have been rejected or invited for an interview, but I don't think the research applicants have been emailed yet.

For anyone waiting for to hear from OISE (Counselling) they'll be mailing out offers mid march

Thanks for the advice! I've read that my top choice school will be sending out offers mid-March, so if I can get the deadline pushed back just a little then it will help a lot.

I recieved an offer of admission from the University of Alberta, which is great, but my problem is that they've requested I submit my answer by March 15th! That seems so soon, and I know one of the other programs I've applied to doesn't send out offers until April :S I'm not sure if I can ask them to extend their deadline, or if I should say yes and then cancel if I get into my first choice. Can I do that? So confused....

Just recieved an email from Alberta saying I was accepted, and that I'll be recieving my official letter of admission in the mail!!

Just received an email from the University of Alberta saying that I have been admitted to the department of Educational Psychology, and I'll be recieving my official letter of admission in the mail shortly!!!

Good to know, wish it was closer though. End of March still seems so far away!!

I've applied to McGill's MA program in Counselling psychology, my status is 'Ready for Review' as well.

In the results page there was a student waitlisted for educational psych on Jan 24, 2012, but that seems so early!!

Any news from Canadian Schools? I'm waiting to hear back from University of Alberta, Toronto, and McGill :S

Does anyone know if there is an interview for counselling psychology at the University of Alberta? For the other schools I've applied to I've been able to find out if there is or isn't, but there isn't any information on the U of A website regarding an interview. Thanks!
