comm program...did they do interviews?

anybody waiting for MSU(michigan state)? heard nothing and even nothing in results search....the coordinator said they will send out the results in early March..figured no good result coz i did not asked for interview...how about you guys?

oh, to the best of my knowledge, i know someone was accepted last month...i learned it from a Chinese version of gradcafe...the POI contacted him/her and notified the acceptance after an interview...maybe they are still reviewing applications....best of luck!

finally found my rejection letter from Cornell yesterday...how about MSU..did you hear anything from them??

nothing in spam folder but some really trash...i checked my status it still was "complete".......

yes! i am confused too!! i applied to the program called communication arts which includes four areas of study, one of them is comm sc...

i have seem this status for decades....will they make decisions in this month? I learned that this program does not do interviews...but i saw somebody post an interview with POI last month...

Yes I am still trying to find funding oppurtunities...I dont have a nice score of GRE, that's what I think might weak my application, or even get me out of the pool after first round rough selection. I contacted my POI before applying and got some positive replies. I am not finshing for acceptance.. so this result maybe reflects something, i am not sure..but i am not losing faith..and i will keep working to make myself a strong applicant/2013Fall student.. Gud luck to us!

also applied Cornell...heard nothing...even an interview..guess I will receive the same later so good to see that you get accepted from Rutgers...I was rejected....btw what is your research interest?

status from Rutgers appeared that my application was denied....T T only got an admission offer from SUNY-Buffalo without any funding...and two rejs from UW and Rutgers.. No interviews till now....guess i just need to prepare for another year of application...sigh

Congrate to Saluki88! I got a question in ths stage...I have contated some professors who match with my resarch interest and they replied like we match very well and something like recommend you to apply...After that I didn't contact them..Should I send an email to them informing that I submit my application and hope they could review my materail (I know they wil review every applican's application, but I want to send this to make them maybe give more attention on my application)?
