  1. That's great! Good luck! Unfortunately I haven't received any email from USC, which coincidentally would be my top choice.
  2. Yep, it looks like somebody just heard from them. Lucky son of a gun.
  3. Thanks. It's still ok though. I'll be upset should USC reject me. That I would be *really* upset about.
  4. Stanford is sending out emails right now. Cohort of 6 this year. Fourth rejection in the bag
  5. I believe he/she means UPenn. I don't think anybody has heard from USC yet. Judging from the admission feed at least.
  6. Jenkins, Henry (2006). Convergence Culture: Where Old and New Media Collide. New York: New York University Press
  7. Does anyone know if USC Annenberg does interviews at all? Nobody has ever reported being interviewed by them.
  8. Hold on, I just got the email from Cornell. Another rejection in the bag.
  9. I haven't received any communication from Cornell yet, nor have I gotten invited for an interview. That's about how much they considered my application I think.
  10. Penn rejected me as well yesterday. I expected it, but still, it sucked.
  11. USC Annenberg is my top choice. I haven't received any communication from them as of today. Judging from past years, they usually send out the first wave of acceptance notifications in mid-February (any day now). They notify individuals who are on wait list shortly after, and take them off the wait list (i.e. those individuals get accepted) around the beginning of April. Rejections seem to be clustered from mid-March through the beginning of April. Does anyone have any additional information?
  12. Penn Annenberg is sending out emails right now. I got rejected. I knew it was a long shot, but hey, it was worth a shot nonetheless. It's also the first communication I get, so it kinda stings a bit.
  13. I have applied to the Technology and Social Behavior program.
  14. Well, personally I'm looking at that Stanford admission and thinking, if I was shortlisted, I probably would have heard something by now.
  15. Pretty much every University states that if something important is missing, they'll get in touch. When it comes to GRE and TOEFL scores or transcripts, I don't think having or not having received official copies would make or break your application. From what I've seen, most likely they will consider you application just like any other, and either before or contextually to their offer, they will want to see official materials, in order to double check that what you declared is legit. In other words, I wouldn't worry too much. And BTW that's what happened to me with UCSD: they didn't receive my scores, so they contacted me and told me that if I were to be selected, I would have to resend the scores in.
  16. A bit nervous. Not about Cornell though, as it's not really a top choice of mine. I'm nervous about the whole process coming to an end. How about you people?
