I worked at a rehab hospital doing TBI research for a few years, At a university doing aphasia research for a few years, and Womens Health research at Planned Parenthood. I am about 98% sure I am going to decline the invite to Iona. I'm just waiting to recieve the financial aid package and that will be the big thing. If it was like "full scholarship!" I would be like, hellllll yesss!! But the chances of that happening about about zero hahaha. I'll let you know how it goes! I am seriously rooting for you!

No prob. This process is so crazy, I was always irked when people didn't post stats because how does that help anyone else make better decisions in the future? When Iona called me I thought about you and was hoping you were getting a call and would be posting about it! keep hope aliveeee GRE Verbal - 157 Math - 147 or 148 (I dont remember) A - 4.5 GPA - 3.4 I've been doing research in TBI / Aphasia and social work for 5 years which may have helped but I don't know.. I have to make a decision/deposit by March 26th.

Got accepted to Iona just now! Email and a phone call ))) but... ive basically made a whole new plan and this throws a wrench into it. Hahaha! I am happy but kinda like.. idk what to do. I'll figure it out soon! As least I have an option

Ugggggghhhhhh, SAME HERE. I basically gave up hope and then they called. They're playing with my heart now . Maybe we'll be getting some sort of an update soon. It would be nice to not have to wait and wonder! I am so over this process.

I asked Iona if they could give me my ranking, they said "At this point in time, we are not notifying students of rank position. Should you be accepted, you will be notified immediately via email and mail. " sooooo frustrating

specifically i applied to: Bloomsburg, Rush, Columbia, Howard, Northern Denver, UC Denver, Grand Valley State, East Stroudsburg. I'm already preparing for winter/spring admissions. this sucks! But I'll keep hope alive until the very last drop.

I applied to 9 other schools, all rejections. Besides, NYU who lost my application or somehow skipped over it (found that out today when someone finally looked into their system for me. I submitted it in october!) I don't know what will happen with NYU but I'm probably going to be rejected and then I hope they just give me back my $75 for applying!

Heard back from Iona. Their waitlist has 60 freakin' people on it She didn't tell me my ranking. I also did not explicitly ask. I was just running some numbers and I literally have a better chance being accepted to medical school than SLP school! WHAAATTTTTT

Thank you!! I also emailed them today about it haha, I should have checked the forum first! We could be waiting forever :| This is my only non-rejection so I hope it works out. I wonder if they will tell us our ranking!

So, NYU straight up did not review my application. How upsetting! I submitted everything in October and I have been calling them for weeks about having no response yet. Finally today they admit that they missed my application. WHAT?

I haven't asked anyone yet! Maybe we will get a response email on tuesday but if not I think I'll call someone and ask.

Waitlisted at Iona too. Keeping my spot. I wonder how many people were waitlisted? Or when their deadline is for those who were accepted..

Got a letter from Iona Admissions today. Heart Sank, figured it was a rejection. It was just a brochure about their clinical communications certificate. ARRRGHHHHH. Don't play with my heart like this Iona!! Still waiting :-/
