I've been a part-time dating coach for the past couple of years, but I want to enter a less shark-infested profession while still helping people with social anxiety and other emotional problems. I think that getting an MSW and becoming a therapist might be a good direction for me. Would a reputable program--CUNY would be ideal--view this as real work experience?
Otherwise my application is good: 3.8 gpa in a social science from a top liberal arts college.
