Is it typical for most phd programs in psych to give you a bit more money after you've completed your masters or finished your candidacy exam?

Did apply to Davis but did not hear back at all... seems strange but I am guessing it is a no. Only other school I have not heard a peep from is Pittsburgh. Did anyone go to Minnesota for recuitment weekend?
Applied: Pittsburgh, Davis, Michigan, U Denver, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Stanford, SUNY Stony Brook, Oregon, Temple
Rejected: Oregon
Alternate: Minnesota, Stanford
Accepted: Michigan
Interviews: Wisconsin, Denver, SUNY Stony Brook, Temple
Haven't heard: Pittsburgh, Davis
Good news is.. this will all be over soon. Hope everyone is breathing
I called Pitt last week and she said they were calling people this week.

Yeah it was quite a shock to me that I got in without even interviewing, but it isn't a very well known school, so I think they may not have had many applicants. Like I said though, it has left me very uneducated about their program in comparison to the ones where I already had interviews.
I was accepted without an interview as well, but they also invited me up to visit and answer questions in person. Are you not planning to visit the school/did they not extend that offer?

Could the person accepted to WashU's developmental psychology program message me their POI? Thanks!

Social and developmental don't *always* do interviews. I just got accepted without one.

Yeah, I think they're only just now getting to the non-clinical areas. I applied there for developmental and just heard back.

Anyone heard from Notre Dame or WUSTL?

How do you see that? I can't see anything except that I completed the application.
I click the "check status of your graduate application" link on the psych application page, then log in, scroll down and then go to application status. Then a new page pops up and you can see your status and all the application materials they have, if you click that option.

I am interested in this too. I applied there but haven't heard anything
When I check on my application status, the website says "in review" so I guess that's better than "rejected" ?

Hi,
I'm worried about a similar issue. Have you asked faculty in your current masters program if this has ever happened before?
I've heard it doesn't matter, but you may have to re-do your thesis or an equivalent project.
