Hello All,
One of my friends has been accepted to Pharmacology and Toxicology program at a University in US. He was asked to let them know by March 5th if he was interested. While the Council of Graduate Schools resolution requires that the candidate should notify of his interest/acceptance of an offer by April 15th, they setup their own deadline. He got an interview offer on March 4th and then he requested the Program director for more time. Finally, they have decided not to keep the offer open anymore and his application for admission has been denied. I request all of you to please look into what could be done and whom to contact in case the program doesn't change their decision.
