Post: #1Deciding between UMich and CMU Mech eng Hi, I have been admitted to master program in mechanical engineering at both CMU and UMich, and currently in the process of making final decision. My specialization is CFD and fluid mechanics, so does anyone has any idea about which U is better in this specialization, I am interesting in doing research with professor Donghyun You group at CMU and with professor Eric Johnsen group at UMich. I also would like to know job placement rate after graduating from both U and their reputation in engineering industry. Please also advise the living place between both cities, which city is more appealing to live in. Thank you very much for your advices. I have to make te decision by this Apr 15th.

Hi ShortLong, I noticed from your status that you have already been admitted to Msc aero at GT, so I just wonder when did you submit your application, I also applied for aero at GT, but I have just submitted my application on Jan 31st, and until now my status is still "waiting for dept review". Thanks
