I'm sorry. That happened to my professor at Chicago and he ended up at Santa Barbara. Which track did you apply to?

This is a tough time for all of us and it would be great to know what the admitted students plan to do. For example, does anyone know who was admitted to Duke (Religion and Modernity)?

No idea. Someone else should call and ask. I sure hope they're not done.

Just called UCSB. Acceptances are for those who have been nominated for central fellowships. Others coming beginning of March, but will most likely be unfunded.

For those of you who have been admitted: congratulations!!! But please please please please please let them know if you're going to reject their offers as soon as possible. The waitlist is the worst limbo.

The Emory rejection was mine. It was from the American Religious Cultures track.

The Berkeley admit is pretty consistent with previous years. A couple of acceptances, a couple of waitlists by Jan 31st and a whole lot of rejections by Feb 10th! Also, UCSD said Feb 7th is the date.
