I received an email from the Peabody School at Vanderbilt University today, inviting me to attend their Masters' Visitation Day. It began with "Congratulations! You've been admitted to a master's program at Vanderbilt's Peabody College!" Then, it goes on to talk about the Masters' Visitation Day. I have not received any other form of acceptance from them, so this just seemed odd to me...especially since the title of the email is about the visitation day and not about the acceptance decision. Did this happen to anyone else? Is it an acceptance, or just an invitation?
