Hey guys,
I'm looking for some prestigious applied math or statistics programs, but I've been struggling to find those that provide funding (I need most of it covered to be able to afford it).
In terms of my background:
-3.4 GPA, B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Psychology (separate bachelor's degrees)
-Concentration in Biomolecular Engineering
-Minors in Mathematics and Chemistry (I have a pretty strong mathematics background, but haven't taken a ton of computer science courses)
-GRE: 161 verbal, 165 quantitative
-Large amount of both leadership and research experience
I plan on going into Computational Neuroscience after I get my master's, but I really need some funding for the master's degree. I've looked at some schools (the QMSS program at Columbia, the Math program at NYU, etc) but I just can't seem to find one out there that would provide enough funding for me to attend.
Does anyone have any suggestion on where to apply that funds well (and that I would have at least an outside shot at getting into)? Thanks!
