I received an email from DGS of MTS at Northwestern with acceptance and 4 years of funding. Not sure what is going on if you had not at least had a phone interview with NU.

One of my colleagues completed his M.A. at MSU in their Comm program and he said they are just traditionally one of the last schools to make decisions and send out notifications. I'm not expecting anything until the 2nd/3rd week of March.

I cannot say for certain, but I am leaning towards not so good news. But you never know!

Yes. I have been in contact via email with a couple professors for a couple of weeks now. I'm one of a few applicants they waitlisted. (less than 5% admitted of 120 and less than 5% waitlisted).

You haven't heard from them? I had a skype interview and have been waitlisted. From what I have heard, they only offered admits to three applicants.
