Yes you can. Some schools, such as Brooklyn college, Hunter, NYU strongly prefer or require an undergrad degree in studio art. But there are plenty of great schools that don't. It will likely be about finding the right fit / program.

Hi! Seems you'll need to contact the schools directly regarding their policy on waiting a year. I don't know much about Bard's program, but it does seem that one major difference is structural. Do you want to do school in the summer? And upstate? Or do you want to do a year long program and be in NYC? Also, in looking at the faculty and the vibe of the program, what seems more akin to your work? Not sure if this really helps, but just some thoughts.

From what I can tell, no interview and know by april 1 for SVA. And totally agree on the side note, and Rutgers anticipation.

Interview request from Parsons tonight by email. But for those of you who don't get one, remember someone said earlier that Parson's accepted them mid March without an interview. My work is kinda out there, I'd interview me too. No word from Rutgers, though people in the other forum seems to be getting acceptances.

And can you tell me what the schedule is like? Do you have any control over your schedule? How often do you need to be on campus? Any details are appreciated!
