I think Harvard has more "big names" and better atmosphere: there are 3 faculty members having won the Presidents' Award. I visited Harvard last summer: a place giving me passion to work hard. I talked with the faculty members and they were very nice to work with.

Hello! I'm an international student who got Statistics Ph.D. admission (without ganranteed financial support) of University of Wisconxin Madison and Stat MSc offer of UBC in Canada. I try to make the final decision but it's rather difficult for me: it'll cost me a lot of money to cover the tuition and living costs if accepting Wisc; the financial support of UBC can cover the whole thing for 2 years' study. But as I know, the average salary paid in Canada is lower than US. Could you please give me some advice? Thank you very much!
