Hi all! Does anyone have experience creating an embedded index in Adobe Acrobat? I am trying to help a professor and am completely lost. I've looked online for help, but none of the instructions show me how to actually view the index once I "build" it. I'm also not sure how to do nested entries. Any and all help is so appreciated!

Thank you, everybody. I am pursuing Sociology, and was actually just accepted to a school ranked #31. I know rank isn't everything, but I am pretty sure about 80% of PhDs hired from my discipline are from people with a degree from a Top 10 institution. With that being said, I am visiting the school tomorrow to see if it is a good fit...

The age-old question about funding... Fully-funded PhD w/ stipend in school ranked 59 by US News in my discipline. Department features faculty who specialize in my areas of interest. Department can fund travel for my research project abroad. Or Unfunded MA programs at either Columbia or NY, ranked top 10. I would obviosuly accumulate debt, and do not know about how I would pursue international research. Nor do I know where MA grads are placed afterwards as far as PhD programs and ultimately jobs.. I welcome your thoughts and feedback!!!

Is anyone else still waiting to hear from CUNY? I haven't been rejected or accepted yet, and website says nothing.

I just got into the newly-created MA program at NYU. Unfunded. And I have other PhD offers, but none from top-tier schools. Ahhhh!

Hi all - Has anyone been admitted to Rutgers? I am on the wait list and was just wondering if anyone could speak out (or PM me) about their status... Does anyone know the likelihood of being admitted to Rtugers from the waitlist based on previous years? The grad director told me I had a "pretty good chance," but it is so unsettling being in this position.. Thanks in advance.
