[UMich Vs CMU]

I have secured self funded MS admits from CMU and UMich. At this point, I am interested in Wireless Communication, but am open to other fields to.  I intend to pursue my PhD post MS. Could you please help me decide which one might be a better choice and why? Thanks in advance!!

Most of the MS programs would notify you about the results within March..so I would suggest you to wait till then..in case there are any specific dream schools, you can always drop them a mail asking for the possible date of the decision

Has anyone applied for the MS program in EECS at Berkeley? If yes, has anyone heard back from them yet?

[TA/RA for MS]

Hello all,

 

I have received an admit from UPenn and CMU for M.S. However, none of the letters indicate any assistantship/fellowship. There is no way I would be able to afford it without any aid from the institute. How shall I go about asking them for a TA/RA? Is it too early for this or is it okay if I approach the program coordinator directly?
