Just out of curiosity, who is Rachel Holskin and how does she have all the important information? Secondly, are there any other alternates that are planning to apply again next year? I don't know if they keep a list of who made it through to the finals in the previous competition. Does reapplying help or hinder your chances?

Does anyone know where the "additional funding" for alternates comes from? For a country that didn't give out as may grants as they were initially supposed to, is there a greater chance that funds will be found and the alternates will be contacted?

I was recently named an alternate for the ETA to Poland. When I checked the application statistics, it said that they only awarded four grants. In country information, it states that they award ten. Does anyone know why this might be?
