Texas State sent out their first round of acceptances two weeks ago, second round will be this week, third round next week. They keep doing rounds until the program fills up from people responding yes. Their communication is terrible, though - btw. GOOD LUCK!!

That was me. I totally thought we were hearing back from them this week, but I guess not. Don't know if this means we get to enjoy spring break more, or less now. Womp womp.

It's a great school in general, but specifically for speech language pathology their program is outstanding. Judging by your credentials you listed, you look like you have a really great shot of getting in! If you don't mind sharing, I'm curious about your research experience? What and where?

Hey everyone! Another anxious body checking in this weekend Is there anyone that has applied to The University of Texas at Austin (UT - Austin) that has heard any news, good or bad? I'm thinking we should be hearing something back this coming week which makes me so excited yet so nervous! It's so funny reading everyone's posts because I thought I was the only one going through this cyclical depression thing! I can't wait for this whole ordeal to be over with (preferably ended with an acceptance!) Sigh, we're almost there!

I can imagine your surprise!! Do you remember when you submitted your completed application? I'm so surprised (obviously!) that you heard back already! I'm being eaten alive by anxiety!! I'm really really really hoping for good news, but I've heard it is VERY hard to get into this program from my professors so my hopes are kind of low

First of all congratulations! I applied to three schools (UT Austin, Texas State University, Our Lady of the Lake University) so obviously I'm curious about your acceptance into UT Austin. Do you know of anyone else that has heard of acceptance or decline into that program because I don't know of anyone else! I hate to bombard you with questions but I have soooo many since you're the only one that I know of that has heard any news so far!
