  1. accepted into MICA for photography!!! I'm so excited
  2. an update, MICA says that notification for waitlisted candidates will be extended until monday. They are meeting over the weekend to review more thoroughfully.
  3. They say they will notify all candidates by both email and phone call
  4. Probably tomorrow then, I kept staring at my phone for the whole day today
  5. Anyone heard from MICA about final decision for waitlist candidates yet!?
  6. MICA send an email today say that they've started reviewing for waitlisted people and will inform them around April 17th :-s Yourlashesinmyeyes, your works must be impressive! do you mind send me your website btw?
  7. I'm also waitlisted on MICA, and they say usually they accepted from 5 to 10 students on the waiting list. Although I don't know if it's for the whole college or each individual department.
  8. MICA photography program waitlisted today through snail mail! They say i'm in the top 10%, but hopefully the list is not that long......
  9. snail mail today, Waitlisted for MICA, top 10%! Please if any of you guys admitted and don't wanna go there, tell them cuz I really do wanna go
  10. I emailed SAIC about their prior degree program, asked them about the scholarship since I'm pretty desperate right now They replied "...To begin with, the process itself amounts to you technically transferring into the School for advanced undergraduate studies. Just notify me directly by email of your intent to be in this program before March 15th. Of course, it is always your prerogative after receiving financial aid and scholarship results to decide if you wish to attend. Nothing more is required until I contact you afterwards to schedule registration appointments...." Does that mean I can tell them that I want to be in their program and wait for them to decide how much does they want to give me, and if the amount is not enough then I still can decide not to enroll?
  11. mail just came, rejection from Columbia Chicago
  12. haven't received anything from Columbia Chicago yet assume rejection but still crossing my fingers btw anyone heard from MICA yet?
  13. May I ask how much funding did they give you?
  14. They treat you like a BFA transfer student with something like up to 90 transferable credits
  15. Orangephotog1, Mtndew, I don't think it's a post bac program, just a regular BFA
