      Yes! It is very easy to set up a blog site. Wordpress.com is a great place to start. The main thing is having something to say or show to the word. Something more involved than what twitter can handle (use twitter to advertise your blog). You don't have to post everyday, but content, in my opinion is key. You can check out my blog. The early posts were simplistic, but as I got more confident, the posts got better. Mine: http://ethnographique.org/news-blog/

    I am a speech language pathology major however I graduated in 2003. I had a low undergrad gpa, so I am 2 classes shy of a Masters in Preschool Education. I am in the process of applying to speech programs. I applied to: Armstrong Atlantic Univ, Montevallo Univ, and Alabama A&M. We shall see!!!
