What do you think?
I was accepted to Columbia recently
Going to Columbia would only put me about 35K in debt, with the scholarship and federal work study they gave me, on top of my $5500 Americorps education award and the money my mom has saved up.
I dont expect to hear back from the other 3 for a few months.
I know a lot of people say that State vs Ivy league doesn't matter for social work, and that how State schools will give you better education.
I am new to social work, I have my undergrad in psychology. I am specifically interested in the social, economic, and international welfare field. A systems approach, maybe working internationally. I understand international work is super competitive. What I value in my education is my field placement, my opportunity after graduation, and my return of investment (how much I will make additionally by getting this degree)
Ill take any comments
