Thank you all for your helpful input! I think the stress of hearing back from schools is starting to get to me.. haha Thanks for allowing me to see the bigger picture. : ) As far as money goes, the thought of losing $650 from a deposit was a little scary, but it's relatively pocket change considering the total amount of money I'll be spending on tuition, fees, housing, etc. It'll especially be worth losing if I'm able to get a score a spot at my #1 school anyway! I was actually curious about this as well. Most schools should have a refund policy regarding the matriculation agreement/deposit. I was checking into this for one of my schools and found that depending on the timeline of your withdrawal, you can get back a portion/all of the deposit. However, I can't help thinking about how I'd feel bad for committing to a school to only back out later on. I wonder how often this happens?

Congrats to all who were accepted and wait listed! Does anyone from the wait list have any further information about it? I know spot availability is up in the air until mid-April or so, but I was curious if anyone knew how many people were put on the list/whether they'll release information about your position on it. Thanks!

I got the same email, but I'm not exactly sure what it means. It's from the admissions account, so it's hard telling who received it. Let's just think positively.

I saw that someone in the results page has posted about an acceptance from UIUC via postal mail in Georgia (congrats!). Has anyone else heard from them?
