That was a crazy win last night - most brackets in America are now ridiculously busted -- most that I have seen had NM going to the Sweet 16 (a few Elite 8 and I've seen one with NM in the Final Four) - not anymore!

The Harvard game might be ugly to watch, UNM is on fire this year. That being said I'll put on my Harvard hoodie for the game. Are there really not many of us guys at HGSE?

Still sad that I won't be able to make it to admitted students weekend But I'll see y'all in the Fall!

I'm looking at the off-campus apartments they rent, it's one of those things where they give you a window to look at the places they have to offer and if one you like is open you can claim it deals. Not guaranteed to find something, and some of the prices are ridiculous (like $2600/mo ridiculous!) but since I'll be married and we have a small dog there are a few places that would work for us if they are available. Otherwise we will be rental shopping in May or so!

Looks like I won't be able to make admitted students weekend -- have a BES conference the next weekend and my bachelor party the weekend after and can't spare any more money now that I know for sure I need to save for not having an income next year! Anyone else here doing the School Leadership Program?

It said financial aid would be available end of March or first week in April I believe.

Yeah -- at this point if I get in I doubt I'd be able to go to prospective students weekend -- the ticket alone would run me $450 + hotel and such --- that's a lot of money for someone who would be leaving having an income for a year!

If I have to go through Spring Break next week (as a teacher, not a student - still as fun!) without knowing it'll be horrible! My fiancee will be out of town too, which means more boredom! Guess I'll start working on home improvement projects...

Something has to fill our time! I've had to suspend watching episodes of Fringe (on season 4) until we find out!

Is anyone else planning to apply for graduate housing if you get accepted? Crazy that the application opened March 1st before all grad schools send out their acceptances! I'm limited to what they have to offer since I'll be married (June 15th!) and we have a miniature goldendoodle named Kingsley!

I turned off my e-mail notifications on my phone and turned off my mac mail today - told the rest of the teachers and staff to text me if they need to get ahold of me today - the only way I can control the stress! I'll check the website every couple of hours but that's as much as I can handle!

It might just be me, but I feel like finding out due to a random check of the website is less stressful than getting the e-mail and then checking the website -- maybe I'll close my mac mail and turn off my iPhone tomorrow afternoon and just check the website every 20 minutes...the anticipation and nervousness is crazy!

So we have it narrowed down to tomorrow between 4:45-5:30 it looks like from perusing this and the last couple of years posts...am I correct in thinking that would be Eastern Standard Time? If it is then I will be getting the news while with a class of middle schoolers (we have extended day), which could be good or bad!

I applied to the School Leadership program (did 2 years TFA in Memphis and have been at the same school for an additional 2 years). I plan on spending today and tomorrow getting everything ready for the week after Spring Break (which is next week for us). It'll get me a head start on my work so I can relax during Spring Break and will keep me super busy today and tomorrow. We also have a few teachers out today due to sickness, and since we are a charter school we do internal coverage instead of subs, so I am also covering two classes today - that will definitely keep me busy!

Mine stil has it all there (letters of rec and gre scores with the checkmarks), as well as the payment received checkmark.

There's also a 9 digit # when you log in that says to use for any questions about your application...maybe it's that one? I'll have both ready just in case!

Airwick, is the pin the 9 digit application reference #?

I refuse to review any of it for fear I'll see grammatical errors...I am very prone to grammatical errors, even after checking it over 10x at least. 5 days almost to the hour until we (hopefully) find out!

Anyone else apply to the School Leadership program? 6 more days (hopefully)!

Forgot to put a copy of my W-2 and other tax forms in with my tax return when I sent them the other day -- looks like another piece of mail is going out tomorrow.
