I might be visiting HGSE in the Fall, so maybe I might see you. I hope we can keep in touch or something if you're around. I hope to interact with students and I want to see the campus too. I'm so excited and so motivated to apply to HGSE! I'm going to work really hard and try to get as much experience as I can with teaching, tutoring and whatnot. I also have to prep for my GRE's. Any books you recommend for the GRE's? What score range should I aim for?

Which school is easier to get into in terms of the master's/PhD programs?

Hi there Tut, I noticed you posted in my other thread with a link to Harvard's current class admit stat and I also noticed that you got admitted into an EdD program at Harvard. Congrats! If you don't mind, I would like to ask you for advice especially when applying to an EdD Program, who did you have write you your letter of recs, do they weigh in GRE's or GPA equally, or one more than the other? How many years of work experience did you have before applying for the EdD program and do you have any helpful advices and tips when applying to an EdD program? Any help or advices would sincerely be appreciate it. Thank you.

For those who applied to HGSE, what are the stats? What's the acceptance rate for the master's program and doctoral programs? How many years of work experience does the average master's students have? Are they tough on GPA? I'm an undergrad interested in applying to HGSE for my master's. How should I best prepare for the program? Any help or advice would greatly be appreciated.
