I'm actually moving to a town about 15 mins away, so I'll be driving to school. (I previously thought I would be commuting from Jersey City, but things changed.) I'm very excited to hear about free parking at the new center in Bloomfield though! I feel like it's unheard of to not have to pay for a permit each semester.
Thank you so much!! This is a huge help. I was thinking that I would need to walk from the train or get a bike or something. I wasn't sure if there were any buses but I'm so glad I mentioned this.
Also congrats on IU!! BU is a great place, but you'll save so much living in Bloomington versus Boston. And Bloomington is a cool place--one of my coworkers in NYC when to IU for undergraduate and had a great time.
Thank you maggiebSLP for sharing your experience! That makes me feel better about my decision to go to Montclair I hope the rest of you are feeling good about your choices too!! And congrats on the GA interview offers!
Also I must admit that I was a little bummed when I realized that most of my classes would be off campus--I'll need to commute for a least the first couple of semesters, and the SLP center is not exactly near the train I really don't want to drive either--Route 3 is a mess!!
Hi all,
I got an email acceptance from Montclair State today! I'm super excited because I really did not want to pay for school in NYC. Anyway I am curious to anyone who might know what the grad school leans toward--medical or educational speech path? Is it possible to get placed in a medical setting for clinicals?
Good luck to all!
Undergrad GPA: 3.86
