You could also try Guwahati not far from Kolkata in Assam and visit Kamakhya temple. Kalighat in Kolkata and Kamakhya temple in Guwahati are two good places to do research on Shakti.

I am so glad I don't have to doubt my sanity and there are so many other people who feel exactly the same way. I have been postponing a 'talk' with my boss asking for a transfer which I desperately want because I keep wondering if it's too premature and if I should wait for FSB!!! But then again it can only go one way and we can't do much about this anymore. We did put a lot of effort so *deep breaths* whatever!! (Of all the things I needed to worry about I really didn't think it would be sequestration and having to know exactly what it means!! ) But for what it's worth BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE. I HOPE WE ALL GET IT ))

Will Sequestration affect Fulbright this year? Still haven't heard from them. Going crazy, it's like your life has been put on hold for the last one year...
