I'm pretty sure that everyone received the same email. It's still pretty early on in the application process, I don't believe they have eliminated anyone yet.

From what I remember the budget emails were sent toward the end of March. Like aepafrica said above, the procedures were strange last year and not as standard as the years before.
I don't think that you should worry too much about the letter of affiliation considering that it wasn't required. Unless of course your advisor indicated that it was important. I didn't include a letter of affiliation and don't believe it will weigh heavily on your application mostly because during the webinars IIE staff made it seem like it wasn't a decisive factor. I could be wrong of course.
Either way good luck! I'm glad this thread has been revitalized. I applied renegade style without the help of an advisor. It would be nice to hear if campus advisors were any help and also any tips or inside info they gave applicants.

Congratulations! I haven't heard much about this program and that is why I chose not to apply, it seems relatively new. In the end I chose NYU because it is such an international city with Tons of professional opportunities. Stanford is an amazing school of course but I think you should go with the school that best matches your post graduate goals. Also try reaching out to a few students in your program. Good luck!

Hi, i know this thread has been dead for some time... but, I tried to create a Net ID & it let me create one and it allowed me to make a password, However, when I try to log in it says I am in ineligible for a NYU Home account at this time.... does this mean I am rejected??
Hi na3eem! I applied for Steinhardt International Ed program. Turned in my app on the deadline - I'm curious when did you submit yours? I have heard a few people chatting about creating a Net ID and it seems that all applicants are assigned one but this only hearsay. How did you start creating your ID? Could you provide a link?

I applied to NYU for their International Ed program. After lurking online I'm thinking about applying for Columbia's TC as well. When did you apply to Columbia? I believe they are still accepting apps.

Hi Memba. The Boren website states (somewhere) that the domestic portion is more or less reserved for those in the STEM field. I definitely remember reading that a few times. However I can't recall if it depended on before or after in country study. Bummer I know.
