Although I am waiting to hear about a teacher exchange, everything else in the process (including checking this board and my email 75x per day) has been very similar to what you all are going through. I'm supposed to hear in "Early April" if I've been matched in the UK. This is what I got from IIE regarding the sequester: "As you are aware, several federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of State, are still awaiting important funding decisions. Regardless of these final decisions, the selection and matching process for the Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange Program is still underway."

It's Friday. I thought all day I might hear something because all my other good news from Fulbright has come on a Friday. I could literally see the word Fulbright in my inbox before I looked, but alas, I must wait another week.

Hi Everyone! I've been lurking for a while too. I've applied for the Fulbright Teacher Exchange. I got the email saying my app was approved on the day after Thanksgiving, interviewed a week later and was told I'd hear more in February. When I didn't hear anything by Valentine's Day, I inquired. Guess what? Recommendation letter was sent January 2nd and went to my junk mail! So now I'm waiting to hear if I've been matched. The email said dial matches will be made in late March and notifications will go out in early April., but everything they've done so far seems to be ahead of schedule. Yes,I also have two paths planned, dependent on the email iI receive in about two weeks. I haven't been able to plan any summer trips, camp for my kids, etc. but I did have a friend in England buy me tickets to see Richard II at the Royal Shakespeare Company, just in case I will be there
