My application just has a red X beside it and it states " your application has been cancelled, we regret to inform you that your application was not approved" I will be attending Edinburgh, finalized that this morning and am really excited. As for your last post - they would be silly not to accept you with your background. I wish you so much luck in your persuit of an MPH!!

UTH90 - I just checked my online application status and I did not get in, but I sitll have not recieved an email.

Hey UTH90, I'm glad that their is atleast one other person in the SFU waiting boat with me. I don't know anything about Liverpool's program, but I did get accepted to the University of Edinburgh for their MPH program (and I have accepted their offer since still nothing from SFU) I don't know if you are looking for a specifically for a distance program , but Edinburgh's program looks pretty great, although it is done on campus and not by distance. Its a 12 month program, a large variety of course offerings and small class sizes. They are really great at getting back to you with any questions you may have and the university is ranked in the top 30 in the world. The application deadline isn't until 31-May-2013 so I say check it out.

So I've decided that SFU is going by application number. Almost everyone I know that has gotten an acceptance/rejection had put in their applications quite early. My final document was submitted on the last day it was due, so I feel like the wait for me is going to continue for a bit longer. Congrats to everyone who has heard happy news back from schools and good luck to those still waiting!

Congrats!! I wish I knew how they were sending these out. Are they going by stream/by last name/by acceptance or rejections??? I think the anxiety is just getting to me :|

According to Jen (the SFU grad advisor) SFU has fixed the "technical difficulty" and will be letting people know this week The stress may kill me before I get that email :|

This is getting slightly ridiculous.

To anyone waiting to hear from SFU, I called them a few moments ago and was told that due to a technical difficulty they will be letting people know by early next week. Happy waiting!

Has anyone heard from UoA or SFU yet?

I applied to the population health MPH stream at SFU - am going a little crazy waiting on their reply since I have gotten accepted to the University of Edinburgh and they require an answer sooon!
