Dear All, I am still waiting to hear from Guelph MPH , they told me expected to hear the final by 16 May, and till now i didnot hear back, i called them and they told me that the graduate office is so busy and i have to be patient!!!! is there anybody still waiting to hear from them??? is that normal ????

Thanks a lot for your reply, My concern is the GPA since i have the undergraduate degree from Egypt and another degree from the states i am confused about calculating GPA, i may not approaching the B+(but close to) on my undergraduate but i did an epidemiology certificate from the USA with 4GPA so i dont know if they are strict about B+ , plus i have 15 years of experience in disease surveillance and outbreak response. Dear All, I was applied to Guelph and up till now they are requesting more documents for me and they promised me i should hear from them within 2 weeks, do anybody have an idea about how they are doing the selection??? i asked them but they didnot explain the mechansim to me !!!!

Dear all, I was applying to guelph and by the time I should hear the response, they told me that my file is missing more paper work , I just completed what is mising, they told me that I have to wait for 2 more weeks to hear the response , to calculate my gpa and ensure that I meet the minimum requirment, does any body knows the flowchart for processing the files and does this mean that they didnot take the final decesions till now !!!, I tried to know from them how it works out but they always say thatvcommitte will review and then we will let you know, any clues

Thanks for your reply ,my question is do the evaluation will be based on the most recent transcript only or all my degree together??? Does extensive experience may compensate any deffeciency in education ???

Dear all, Congratulation for all who got acceptance, I applied to Guelph and they send me letter saying that they are in the process of preparing offer letter but they need a master transcripts to be evaluated since it is the most recent degree.Unfortunatelly the university lost all the record and after a long dicission they offered to give me only records with just the passing grades (60 or 70%), I dont know do they decide only based on the last academic degree or average of all degrees I have, I did a certificate on emerging infectious diseases epidemiology from university of Iowa with 4 GPA ?? and i have also 14 years experinece in zoonotic diseases and outbreak responses ,.... please advise what should I do ????,

Congratulations , i applied to Guelph too and after receiving all my document they send me E-mail last week stating that they are interested to prepare an offer but they are requesting Master transcript from my university(Cairo-Egypt), unfortunatelly the university doesnt have the grades in system they offered to give me transcripts with just passing grades (60 or 70%) , do you know why they need this transcript now ?? this means that they still in the process of evaluating,or they needed to complete my paper work I did a certificate on emerging infectious diseases epidemiology from university of IOWA,USA with 4 GPA + 14 yaers experience in zoonotic diseases,outbreak response. Dear All, I received an E-mail from Guelph requesting my master degree transcript to be able to provide an offer letter after evaluating the master transcripts , although they mentioned a month ago that they have all required documents to decide ?? My university in Egypt doesnot provide master transcript ,they just can issue a letter saying that i have passed the required pre-master courses without grades or marks???? the graduate office said that we still have a plenty of time to submit the required documents althought they shoud took all acceptance decesions ????I am confused ?? Master degree wasnot a requirement for entery ?? What do you think ??? Am I going to loose my chance ??? please advise
