  1. I was under the impression that ratings might be normalized by reviewer. I'm not sure where I got this idea (but it may well have been this thread, 200-something pages ago). Obviously it also very much depended on the field this year, though.
  2. I figured out why I couldn't see my rating sheets. Apparently the URL changed. I was using the link from the website (which didn't work), but the one in the email did work. Anyway, my three rating sheets were: VG/E G/VG (this one misspelled my name ) E/VG
  3. I can't complain either, but I'm really surprised. I thought ARRA was supposed to be a green stimulus bill, and I expected this to be reflected in the fields of the winners.
  4. Interesting. I was second wave, but I can't see my ratings sheets. For what it's worth there are only 14 mathematicians with HM, so they definitely decided to fund a very high percentage of the mathematicians that were deemed worth funding.
  5. There's an email address to contact on the fastlane page: info@nsfgrfp.org . I'm sure you're sick of waiting and want to know now, and I can't blame you, but I just wanted to make sure you knew about it.
  6. Apparently math was one of the fields getting a lot of awards. Math had about forty new awards by my count, about 1/7 of all new awards.
  7. Same here. I applied last year, and my login is the same as last year, for what it's worth. Anyway, I think I'll head home from the office now. I have to be up early to proctor an exam.
  8. Just got my ratings sheet email. EDIT: I still get a 404 when I try to login.
  9. Just got my notification email, a few seconds after I accepted the award on fastlane.
  10. You should get an email with login information at some point. They've said it'll probably be within a day or so, but you can decide whether you want to trust that. Incidentally, I applied last year, but when I try to use my old login, I get a 404.
  11. I'm apparently one of a few people from my department who got one.
  12. My username and password from last year give me the same exciting error! Previously, I'd get a message saying that access to ratings sheets was closed.
  13. Yeah, and there was also the time last week when they had a similar announcement up but then pulled it during the afternoon. I think actual maintenance is less likely to get postponed because it doesn't depend on the bureaucracy in the same way tat announcements do. I'm going to predict that this is the announcement, with the caveat that they might pull the maintenance message from the site during the day and postpone it again. Good luck to everyone, particularly those who need it to continue with their studies. I'd certainly appreciate not having to teach for a few years, but I do have guaranteed funding, and I can manage just fine without it.
  14. See, the great thing about this game is that the numbers need not be depressing. If my guess of 13 sounds small now, it'll seem very generous after you post an addition 500 pages before dawn tomorrow. Now get to work!
  15. Sorry, and good luck. Anyone who TeXes a resume for a restaurant deserves a better job in my book. Also, I propose a contest to predict the difference between the number of additional awards (i.e. beyond the initial 950) made and the number of pages in this thread when the list on Fastlane is updated for the final time (an update will be considered final if no further additions to the list are made before the ratings sheets are released). My guess is 13.
