I am a student from China and want to study furhter for a PhD in linguistics in US. I really need some suggestions to help me to choose the universiity. My interest is computational linguistics.I will get a master in corpus linguistics next year. My GPA is about 3.7. My GRE score is 158+170+3.5 and my TOFEL is 110. The school I am studying in is not very famous, which is one of my disadvantages. I have been a part -time English teacher for half an year.Which university in US fits me? I want to apply for Stanford, Upenn, Northwestern, Cornell, Rice, Georgetown, Brown, UCSD, Maryland, Umass. Do you have any advice for it?
