Anyone hear anything about Radford University? There were like no waitlists on here which i hope would be a good sign, but they were like the 1st to send word out yet i've heard nothing for this round. I wonder when the accepted had to accept by... I have 2 wait lists one of which was montclair that had so many people post waitlists and radford my 1st and last letters and nothing from either...im dying on a different note I am so happy for all who are getting good news in the second round and making their decisions! And hold on hope those who are still waiting to hear something!

Don't cry, itll work out! I'm waiting on 2 wait lists and haven't gotten in anywhere yet (second round ) so I know how you feel about getting anxious! Especially since one of my wait lists is 600miles away requiring me to move and find housing arrangements. Hold on to the hope!

it simply had graduate admissions info, nothing saying the program and the envelope just said the Mercy college basic

Thanks, yea i figured i give em a ring, hate how these things always come on the weekends when I cant call to clarify when i get it.

it was a vague letter about not enough room for qualified applicants, it was a rejection like the email sent to me said, but the message did not match the email I received. I'm just trying to figure out if the letter was just a for formality to send a postal letter. It also is dated only 2 days after i applied to the other program so it seems a little soon to be hearing back since i doubt all the supporting materials are in yet.

Anyone know if Mercy sends a formal letter a few days after the email decision? I applied to 2 different programs and haven't heard from one yet and of course there is not way of knowing which program the letter is for, no department indicated in letter, not even from a staff member of the program to give a clue.

Thanks, I called and they really didn't give me alot of information and I called the department and left a message and never got called back. I'm kinda just leaving it as a rejection because I don't think my chances are good. I applied to a Education tri-certification masters program (it had admissions for all three semesters so not full year waiting) in the hopes that I can at least take a step in the M.S. direction hopefully it works out.

I went to Saint Rose for my undergrad in CSD, its a nice campus and area. The girls are nice too, one of my best friends is in the program already. good luck!

Mercy (i even got an interview), montclair, new paltz, radford, and towson radford waitlisted me, the others were rejections and yea applied to 5 schools and got 5 answers

4 rejections and a far fetched waitlist. 2nd time applying. Debating giving up but really hating the fact that I would have spent 4 years getting a useless degree in csd.

You'd potentially lose the deposit, but it may be worth it to hold your place in case the other one doesn't come through.

Ditto I keep calling Montclair and they keep saying "your application is still under review" and I'm like yea i get that based on the portal, but its been that way for 4 months haha I'm with you i just want an answer now. I wish you luck as well....maybe well be classmates next semester (there's still hope!)

Not a rant, this is a well deserved moment to express your frustration with the system especially when you hear words like "complications" involved in the process, and trust me I understand...sitting waiting to hear, I've hit the point where I really just want to know regardless of result so I can move forward with my upcoming year. I really hope you hear soon especially with all the work stuff pending!

and jdslp, I agree its bittersweet seeing people post similar stories. on one hand you're not alone, but on the other we're all floating about getting crazy waiting to hear good news heck any news at this point lol

Anyone else noticing the trend of schools leaving people in the dark by only sending out like 5 emails to people a day? I get my hopes up, but then I get nothing this has happen 2x now. I call the office and get "they're still reviewing" when obviously they've done some decision making... Would it kill them to send statuses all at once? you know its not like my future hangs on them. This is my second time applying and haven't heard any good news yet so its very discouraging waiting and waiting being left to assume I didn't get in. Applied: Towson, Radford, Mercy, Montclair, and New Paltz Rejected: Towson, New Paltz Wait listed: Radford Accepted: NOWHERE yet! Interviewed at Mercy...still waiting and waiting on Montclair. Sorry I sound ranty...it's so emotionally draining as many of us know and for those of us who haven't gotten the golden email/phone call/letter it just makes it extra strained as we get closer to mid april.

there are posts for both of my schools and I've heard nothing! Ugh this is so frustrating and upsetting...hard not to think the reason you didn't get an email with the rest is because you didn't get accepted!

I am waiting on Mercy and Montclair

I'm so happy for all you guys who have gotten good news! It just makes me want to hear from my last two schools all the more hoping for good news. I havent gotten accepted yet but I have hopes still!

I called Montclair a week or so ago asking about when they would notify and the office told me to expect decisions around mid april. and i too am getting anxious waiting on a couple of schools especially since they are my last hopes.

kmfa333, I wish I had gotten the email haha...i saw it change and franticly called because its so vague on the site and had to try 2 numbers because the office of advising for the graduate school wasn't answering. Well I still have 2 hopefuls and a maybe (waitlist) that could change down the road. This is my second time applying so it has been getting a little discourageing. Hey whats meant to be will happen...or at least thats what I keep telling myself haha. Good Luck to you!

Rejected from New Paltz ...I knew it was a stretch because they push their own in before other applicants.I saw on the site it said "Decision made, official decision will be mailed to you" well I couldn't wait, called and was told rejected. A school should use the same form of informing for all decisions....not email for good news and snail mail for rejections. Applied to 5 schools Waiting to hear from 2 Rejected by 2 Waitlisted for 1
