  1. I was looking at the scaled score table at the end of the practice ETS booklet for the Biochem/Cell/MolBio subject test (http://www.ets.org/s/gre/pdf/practice_book_biochem.pdf) and I noticed that getting all 178 questions right only yielded a scaled score of 840. ETS says that the scoring range for subject tests is 200-990. So why is 840 apparently the max for the Biochem test? I don't get the score equating process at all--why don't they just curve a raw score of 178 to 990? I'm very confused, so any help/clarification would be much appreciated!
  2. I took a few summer classes from a state university between my freshman and sophomore year. I also did a lot of dual enrollment courses during high school at a community college. None of these courses will appear on my primary university's transcript and won't affect my university GPA (although they were transferable and appear as blank units). When applying to grad schools, what would I put down for my GPA? Would I have to re-calculate my GPA to include all of these classes (both the summer school and dual enrollment)? Thanks in advance!
