I was waitlisted at University of Calgary, and it was the only program I registered for. After being on the waitlist for over a month and hearing that nearly a dozen others were on it, I gave up and ended up taking courses for a second degree instead. Just two days ago I got an email saying that I was accepted. Now I feel like an idiot because I already spent money on courses, but at least I was accepted!
