  1. Hi, guys, You gotta help me~ I got these 3 Admissions about 1 month ago, I looked through the website of them, asked for help from other forums and had many chats with previous students in Clemson and Syracuse, only except for Northeastern. Unfortunately, I still got no idea which school should I join in, So I REALLY need your help. I applied for MechE program in those universities, expect for Clemson(which I applied for Automotive Engineering). All these three are almost in the same level, and they have a good reputation in ME field I think. So really hard to make decision. However, as a real car fan, I would care more about whether the program has some researches toward car-related direction. And I would say Clemson get a score in this. Instead of just being a program related to automotive, it has a totally car-centered department which has a variety of research areas and concerns about automotive. So it sounds just prefect and will fit me greatly. But Clemson has some cons. The AuE department locates at a very small campus "CU-ICAR"(including only 5-6 buildings) which is about 40 minutes drive from Clemson main campus. From previous students, I learned that almost all the automotive courses are taught in CU-ICAR campus and therefore a little chance to visit main campus which makes me think that is a separated place only for AuE students and faculties. And what's more, if I want to join some students community and wanna have some fun and events with members, I might have to drive all the way to main campus~~ Syracuse, on the contrary, will not have that kind of problem and I think due to it locates right in the small town Syracuse and the whole university is mix with this lovely downtown, I can enjoy a great atmosphere of international communication and multi-culture things. However, I still not sure whether the ME program has a car-related research and as far as I see, I really don't like the research directions in Syracuse. Right now, I am really confused about which one I should join in and please help me and I really appreciated you guys' help!! Thanks~
