I received an email saying I was awarded the Morocco ETA! I'm heading out the door, but it feels unreal. For those out there who didn't make it, please know that I applied for a Fulbright to another country two years ago...I learned a lot from the process and I made myself a stronger candidate as a result. Don't give up! Eventually your work will pay off in one way or another.

I think he said "for your country" so don't get your hopes up, sorry :[

Just got off the phone w/ Jermaine about Morocco...he says he hopes to get the notifications out today. Aaaagh. My head is exploding. He confirmed that orientation starts on June 28 for ETAs in this region and then continues through the 31st...

Aaaghh, Cessie, reading your post made me think that you had gotten results from Morocco this year...I guess I skimmed through it. My stomach flipped. And now my stomach doesn't feel any better about things because if the Moroccan Fulbright Commission director needs photos to help make decisions...well that's just creepy. Thanks Reb for the orientation info...I'm actually going to call Jermaine today to confirm that and ask again about notification.

Can any of the Moroccan finalists confirm the orientation dates for me? I lost the email so I'm not sure, I think it was June 9 to 13? Thanks and cross our fingers that we'll hear today!

Thanks reb and cessiemasque for the info!...also waiting for my Moroccan ETA notification...it just gets harder and harder to have patience as the days tick by.

Morrocco ETA finalist here...has anyone inquired about notifications for Morocco? They came in on April 19 and April 25 in the past couple of years, so there's time, but with each day I get more and more anxious to know. Hate the wait.
