im on same boat.. ucr vs ucla.. one is funding like a phd student..the other one is nothing...

i went to undergrad at ucr, current research prof offered me funding equivalent of a phd student...
ucla accepted me, but i doubt there will be funding at all.
im not rich, but want to change perspective and go to la, but r has the prof i like to work for with funding....
help?

ucla's graduate housing seems kinda reasonable.. although a tap far away from campus actually lol...
