  1. okay. cheers!
  2. Thanks for your reply! about 100 difference in rank, but some Texans told me these two unis should be in the same level in Texas. However, I am not sure whether they are in the same level or not, because I live in England not in the US, just want to get a good job after graduate. Ths cost of living at these two places are both inexpensive. Texas State located in San Marcos, it should a little cheaper than Houston. Yep. It's nearly cover my tuition fee because they give me a discount on my out-state tuition fee also, so the amount of TA's salary is nearly the same as my tuition. My friend told me that Houston is better than San Marcos because there are lots of big companies in Houston, but I think San Marcos is just between Austin and San Antonio, they are also two major cities in Texas. Am I right? Thanks.
  3. University of Houston or Texas State University? Both are for MSc in Applied Math, but Texas state give me a TA position with about $12500 every year. However, UH has a better rank than Texas state. I need to make a decision before May 1st. I have been strugging with this for two weeks. Any one know these two Universities? Give me some suggestions please. Is there a big difference in finding a good job after graduate? I do appreciate any help! Thanks a lot!
