Is there anyone who has got nothing (neither acceptance nor rejection) from UVa or OSU yet?

Nope, I guess. BTW, wherever I ask when it is possible to let me know the admission decision, they replied me that my application is under review and they require few more days to send out the decision. Is it really true that they are still reviewing the application whereas some results have already been sent by them? What is the reason to withhold the rejection information by not updating the application status? If anyone is in the waiting list, he/she deserves to know it. Yet, if one's application decision is rejection, the admission committee should send this information right away after evaluation. Isn't it so injustice not to get application decision by April 15th in spite of applying properly by paying considerable amount of application fee by application deadline?

I am still waiting to hear from 10 schools. This is so unfair. I will definitely follow your procedure right after April 15th.

Got an email stating that "Your PhD application is still under review, but we will notify you as soon as a decision is reached. Thank you for your patience until then. You will be receiving an official decision letter from the UCSD Office of Graduate Studies by mid April." Can anyone tell me whether it is a bad sign? Have they reviewed my application or still it is in the review queue?

Does anyone know when is the possible date to come out their results? Why are they so late to send out the notification this year?

I have also applied to the same area in both schools that you have. Have you heard anything from them or from any Professor in those schools?

If I were in your position, I would definitely go for GA Tech. Its HCI group is really something where every HCI-PhD applicant aspires to get in.

Hi all, I need to know when it is the high time to contact advisors/professors if I want to apply for fall 2010. What things I should focus in my mail? Will I have to inform my gre and toefl score to professors at the contact time? Thanks in advance.
