I'm looking at graduate programs for fall 2014. My undergraduate research has focused a lot on Edgar Allan Poe and I am currently writing an article for publication on Poe and mental disorders, theories, et cetera. All of my work has been original and well-received. Therefore, I will be pursuing American Literature, American Gothic for my Masters/PhD. So far I am looking at applying to Purdue, Northwestern, UPenn, Boston College, U of Virginia, and Brandeis. Would anyone recommend any other schools that I might "fit" into? I really am looking for professors well-versed in Poe, American Gothic, or even Psychoanalytic theory. Thank you!
