  1. This may be a silly question.... But can someone please give me some pointers or what to say when emailing a department you've been admitted to about possible funding/assistantships? I'm not sure if I should mention in it that chances are I won't get to attend without any funding help
  2. It can't be said enough how stressful this whole experience has been. A nice prep for grad school, if nothing else...
  3. Oh dear, no feedback for me from Stanford yet. And this thread made me realize visitation is March 10 (even though I'm International and couldn't attend either way). It's safe to say I can cross Stanford off my list.
  4. So, I think I've been rejected by Stanford (my dream school) because I've seen quite a few people from my major saying they've been accepted. No rejections so far. I know I should I keep a positive mindset but I guess this is me preparing for what's to come...lol. Either way I'll say I don't regret applying. Officially, I have two admits and zero rejections so far.....albeit no funding as yet. Hoping for something good to come soon.
  5. I'm in a similar situation and would love to hear some feedback. In my case it's engineering.
  6. I will be in the Fall 2014 batch. Applying to CEM at Stanford, along with some other schools. Still shortlisting my list of schools to those that I can see myself really fitting in. I have until this weekend to finalize!! Stanford definitely stood out as my first choice though. Despite everyone suggesting not to apply there because of their lack of funding for MS international applicants, I will still give it a shot. Also I've been working for two years since graduating, so I hope that helps for something. Any advice from you guys will always be welcomed. I hope to keep updating my grad school progress.
