Thanks for the reply. I have been checking few universities and indeed most of them are satisfied with two semesters in graduate school in an english speaking country -

Hello, I already took TOEFL exam but it is now expired. I am asking about this because my masters program is taught in english as one year in the Netherlands and one year in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. I was wondering if i need to retake the exam in order to apply for PhD in UK/US or any country that requires toefl. I mean i have been living in an english speaking country for a year so i shouldn't need it, right? Beshoy
