I'm applying for MFA Painting and am concerned about the weight of the resume. The schools say they are looking for candidates with a "high degree of capability", how much of this 'high degree' are they going to infer from my resume? I ask because I am an older student with few exhibitions and lots of unrelated work experience and I don't want to waste $1000 on applications if the schools are not going to take me seriously because I haven't shown enough.
