I'm graduating next spring with a double major in English and Political Science. With that being said my cumulative GPA is relatively low (3.1), but my major GPA's are 3.5 and 3.7; so I am not too worried about getting into a program, (I also founded a charity that is currently grosses 20,000 a year in fundraising). It's just that I am planning on taking a few years off to teach high school and I am wondering if I should get my letters of recommendations now from my professors, keep in contact with them and then request them later, or pursue letters of recommendations from my employers?
