  1. I possess a bachelor's degree in business, with a concentration in data analysis and statistics. Although I greatly enjoy stat, I am also an actively touring and recording musician, and my ultimate goal has always been to be an analyst for a company in the music/entertainment industry. I greatly desire to further my education through grad school. I have been accepted (Hooray!) to two grad schools: 1. Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs, MS in Applied Economics 2. Full Sail University, MS in Entertainment Business Now...Considering the fact that I have a good foundational knowledge of both statistics (through my bachelor's) and the music business (due to the fact that I have been in the industry), I am trying to determine the most beneficial school to attend. Full Sail's degree, while focused on the industry I wish to be an analyst in, has little if any coursework on statistical analysis. Any further knowledge I may wish to gain in statistics would have to be obtained through independent study. JHU, on the other hand, focuses strongly on quantitative analysis. Currently, my own research and the counseling I've received from my former college professors is leading me to conclude that the more versatile JHU degree would be more beneficial... If anyone has any insight on the matter, please feel free to share!
