Hi! I have been accepted with three years funding to UConn's Electrical Engineering PhD program. I also have unfunded acceptances from TAMU (MS), UMass Amherst (PhD), and UMN (PhD). I am going directly for the PhD, and don't have an MS Degree. The options for me are to either go to UConn, or take loans/work for other schools until I get an assistantship. So I just wanted to ask whether UConn will be a good school for me considering the job prospects after I complete my studies (~5 yrs)? (My focus is on Computer engineering-Security). Also, how do UConn engineering graduates fare in the industry, its closer to the Boston area than UMass, so job prospects must be good I presume? Thanks
