I took the GRE and received: 149Q 153V and 4 AW I also have a GPA (overall) 2.9 and a major GPA of 3.53 with two semesters of work to go. I am currently applying to 9 programs for a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience. My overall low GPA is due to the fact that I was an engineering major before i switched to psychology. I am retaking the classes that are dragging my overall GPA down (calc3 and physics for scientists and engineers) I also have one and a half years experience in a cognitive neuroscience lab as a research assistant as well as 3 years of experience as a lab aide in a molecular biology lab. I am applying to: University of Utah, UC Irvine, U of Oregon, Washington State, Boston College, Boston University, UMass Amherst, and Northeastern. I am wondering if anyone knows if I NEED to take the GRE again. I have been going crazy and getting very paranoid that I will not be accepted anywhere.
